Pliko has had a variety of models over the years- the matic, the
sherpa, the sherpa bubble, the trek and now the P3.
To see the 2000 models

The Matic did not always come with a basket or have treaded wheels. The Sherpa
came with the basket. The Sherpa Bubble had a clear rain cover, the Trek had a built in rain cover. The 2002/03 Plikos came
as the Matic with a basket and front bar. The Trek 2002/03 has a rain cover (I believe) and the snack tray. The completo has
a boot and rain hood.
All the P3s have a snack tray sold here. The P3 tray has 2 side
trays and a center cup holder.
The Pliko tray has 2 cupholders and a center tray. The P3 has a Sportivo model (sportier mesh fabric, built in rain cover),
a classico (what the eleganza is), and the completo model (boot, rain cover). The
differences between this and the regular Pliko are the new ergo handles, the steering, the redesigned frame, and the footrest (set back
at a bit of a strange angle on the P3), and the larger footpegs. There is also a more plasticky look/feeling to the P3 as
they removed the fabric
(leatheratte) on the armrests and over the napper bar which was
padded with it.
The tray
can be purchased seperately for a regular Pliko from
Perego. They fit the 3/02s on up, otherwise you have to rig it a bit
for earlier (01) models. Also the car seat adaptor bar (sometimes found on Ebay, officially only sold for the 2001 model
before Peg Perego introduced the Viaggio car seat) fits 2001, 2002, 2003 Plikos, however does not work on the P3 model.
